Belong
Belong also known as a brand launched by Telstra in 2013 and has been running since then. Belong is one of the cheapest ISP which is significantly cheaper than it’s present (Telstra). However, it’s limited in offering with ADSL2 and NBN available only with the side inclusion of Belong Voice. Belong also offers budget month-to-month packages as well.

We’ve been disappointed by the speed of ADSL. It’s been running approximately 2 mbps when it should be 14. We called Belong who sent out a technician only to discover that Belong wouldn’t be able to fix the problem and that we would have to get our own technician. I called again to cancel the service which they ended up writing a note to our name to end the service Sept 1st. I changed my mind in August because at least the cost is cheap so why risk getting a more expensive service without getting faster internet, right? So I called up Belong again to continue our service rather then ending it in Sept. the rep said he had taken care of it. Well guess what? Our WiFi shuts down Sept 1st and the app states that we currently don’t have any active broadband services. I just called Belong AGAIN and this time, the rep puts in a request to restart our service. I asked how long it would take and he said 7 business days. REALLY? After wasting hours of time on the phone talking to a rep to continue our service with Belong, this is what happened. Thanks for not following up with what you said and now we’ve paid to not have internet for who knows long. I really should have just paid $200 to switch to Optus or someone else. Waste of time but I guess that’s price you pay for cheaper rates....

Frequent dropouts, slow and poor support
Constant dropouts, adsl2+ but getting dialup at best. tech support is overseas call center where staff try but clearly butter you up with call scripts and worry about your call rating at end more than good service. Call centre refuses to lodge complaints (despite being policy) and then complaints are ignored. Then just want to bill more to get out.

I was a member with Belong for 2 years, and they just cut my connection by "accident". After the disconnection they said that they cannot re-establish a connection at my address any longer. Terrible terrible customer service, left me waiting for a call back, each time i called i got a different answer, eventually they just said sorry they cannot help.

These guys are shit! Internet drops out every day! I call them and they tell me it won’t happen again! Works for a while then drops out again! I feel like Bill Murray on Groundhog Day!

This is the worst internet provider I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. From February - April the internet and wifi has flickered on and off several times a day. Upon numerous calls and time wasted, nothing has actually been resolved. You are passed from person to person on the phone and then told soemone will call you back, which they don't do. Now for the last 6 days my internet has been COMPLETELY down, consistently. Cannot access it at all. They have said they will send a technician out, (this should have been done 6 days ago when I reported the issue) and they have no idea when the issue will be resolved. They also added 12 months to my contract without telling me when I moved house. An internet provider that doesn't provide internet. What a service.

So unreliable i didn't have internet for 2 months and nobody didi anything about that. On the phone everybody was just truing to lie to you and hang up the phone as soon as posible. When i disconected my servixe qirh belong i ask them if thay can change my account name because there was a mistake in my name and i need it to be corrected, they told me that they cant do anything for me just because i have disconected from belong. Never again and i will tell every person who is looking for internet to never get belong.

Service connected 2 months ago, however could not connect to the internet. Still waiting to hear from the level 2 technician regarding the issue, even after 4 calls to follow up. Pitiful at best.

3 months with no internet everytime i call i get theres an outage in the area (there is no outage in the area) iv been trying to call to get the service disconnect and there has been no answer or you get hung up on no a happy belong customer here

Six weeks and still waiting for connection. Terrible customer service. Every time I report issues they just tell me they've fixed the issue
