The same speed of 25 Mbps Download and 5 Mbps upload (25/5) can be availed free for six months, by subscribing to the lower speed tier of (12/1) but on a 12-month contract. The monthly fee of 25/5 plan is $54.90 while that of 12/1 plan is $44.90. So, if you opt for the 12/1 plan and get 25/5 speed free for six months, that is a savings of $10 x 6 = $60. For the remaining period of the six months, you would be on the 25/5 cost for 50 GB of $54.90. The only disadavantage is that you can opt for month-to-month contract in this plan but you would be locked to a 12-month contract in the cost-saving option. In fact, the 12-month contract option as well as the 24-month contract option is not available for the 25/5 Quick speed tier.

After you have used up 50GB, excess data charges of $2 per GB will apply.
