I am very happy in my experience using my recently purchased TPG ADSL2+. As a first time user of this ISP, I have been incredibly satisfied and have subsequently encouraged others to invest in this internet solution. The cost was very reasonable, the speed is excellent, it is consistently reliable and the value for money has been very satisfactory. As a full time student sharing the expense of this internet provider with my housemates, it has provided the perfect solution to the ever climbing expense of individual data costs.

I have been with TPG for three years, the whole time my internet has been incredibly slow. I have complained to TPG many times, and tried their technical support but nothing has helped. Four months ago the Internet speed got really bad so they sent out a technician to have a look at the line that is connected to my house.

The technician said they fixed it and left. The Internet was still really really slow. TPG sent out a second technician and the exact same thing happened. Then they sent out a third technician. This technician said that their was a substantial amount of water damage to the line and it would need to be replaced, but that was up to Telstra. He forwarded his findings on to TPG.

TPG called me to tell me that Telstra would be replacing the line within ten days and I would not need to pay anything because the fault to the line was from external damage. A week later TPG send me an email saying that Telstra can't fix the line and there's nothing TPG can do.

I have tried sorting out this issue with TPG but to no avail. Their customer service team is mostly always rude and unhelpful, and they could care less that I have barely working Internet, yet they feel I should pay full price for it.

I barely get 1mb speed, which is something they've tested themselves. I have reduced my plan and do not recommend TPG at all, I'll be changing to a different provider once NBN is available to me in the next few months.

I love TPG it was super easy to set up my account, my sim was sent out really quickly and they swapped my number over for me and were really great to chat to on the phone. I'm not on a contract which is great I get unlimited texts and calls and so much data I couldn't use it all if I tried, really quick service I suppose there are a few areas with little or no reception but you get that with any company I suppose. Very happy customer!

I joined TPG about close to 11 months ago, it was one of the cheapest companies around for home wifi and had amazing word of mouth exposure. Almost everyone was talking about TPG and how they are the best option for anyone to hook up with for home Wifi. I have occasionally had problems with connection because the router is located in an odd position, however everytime I called I was provided prompt and arguably efficient advise, and so far I am reasonably happy with TPG. I dont think there is another provider out there that can possibly beat the level of service and price TPG has to offer.

Currently with TPG on their FTTB plans. Service has been fantastic since installation, very enthusiastic technicians involved in the installation process (our building was one of the first in Melbourne to be connected to the FTTB network). Speeds are as promised, even during the day when the Melbourne CBD runs a little slower.

I am yet to use their customer support, but have used their service on other communication services with no such issues to report. I would encourage anyone looking at an NBN service to check if the FTTB service is available in your area. I am genuinely impressed with the product and service offered

We have used TPG for the last two years and it is only because we simply do not have the time to deal with the hassle of changing that we haven’t switched.

Initially, it took almost two months to get internet connected when we moved into our house. This involved HOURS spent both on the phone and waiting around the house (after taking time off work) for a technician to arrive and assess the problem.

We were told by TPG on multiple occasions that there was no ‘infrastructure’ for internet at our property. We live 3km from the CBD and could see from real estate photos that the previous tenant had a router in the spare room – two factors making it highly unlikely for this to be true.

Currently, our internet speed is so slow (well below the minimum proposed in our contract) making it impossible to even watch Netflix, we are also unable to connect our phones to WiFi and use them efficiently, driving us to rely on mobile data only sending our phone bills through the roof.

Both the customer service and internet service offered by TPG are appalling and I would not recommend this provider to anyone.

I was signed up to TPG's 500gb plan (250gb/250gb Peak/Off-Peak) for a number of years (approx 3-4 years). I was previously with Soul Internet before they were bought out by TPG (if you remember them, was a while ago).

While I was Soul Internet, my service was almost flawless, while I didn't get the best speeds I was blessed with reliable and quality service. As soon as my service was migrated over TPG (when they bought out by TPG) everything just started lacking, I was experienced slow speeds (Maximum 300-400kb/s compared to Soul which was about 600-700kb/s) and experienced multiple service disruptions.

When I contacted their support (during non-peak times) I was kept on hold waiting for a customer service rep for sometimes up to 30 minutes, and when I voiced concerns over my slow speeds I was kept on hold for up to an hour while they tried to figure out the issues, to which they couldn't and kept trying to tell me that it's the traffic coming from my area (which was not the case).

My time with TPG eventually ended when they decided to disconnect my service as they had lost the connection codes because I changed my phone number and they wanted to charge me $90 to reinitialise the connection codes, which was funny considering I hadn't changed the phone number.

During the phone call I made to TPG I kept insisting that what they were saying was incorrect, and demanded they waive the fee due to their incorrect information, as they refused to do that I told them to refund the remaining balance for the month and disconnect my service.

I'm now with Club Telco (they are part of the M2 Group), while they are considered an underdog in the ISP world I have received a flawless level of service from them, and have never really had any issues with them.

Hello there, I have been utilising TPG internet since 2 years now. It is an incentive for cash. Awesome its speed and love the specialized support TPG provide me. They settled an issue in a reasonable amount of time and followed up with a support phone call.

Haven't confronted any issues till now as far as speed and quality. Continuously great. I likewise have its post paid mobile service which I also have no issues with, thank you TPG.

TPG have provided sufficient value for money with a service which has been very reliable. Whenever we give TPG a call, even though they are located at an overseas call center, they are happy to help and very polite over the phone. Generally we've not had any issues with our broadband service with an ADSL2+ speed which is sufficient to browse the internet and stream online content (netflix / stan). We have adequate data on a plan which costs $59.95 a month and no matter how much data we use we never seem to get close or shaped.

We signed up to the unlimited data adsl2+ because it was the cheapest rate going on the market. Two years on, we are still on it despite finishing the contract period. Excellent customer service and technicians who made the installation process a swift experience.

On one occasion we had an issue with connection speed on the weekend. TPG was able to send out a technician to fix the issue within a couple of hours at no extra charge. I cannot sing their praises enough and highly recommend their broadband plans!
