Belong also known as a brand launched by Telstra in 2013 and has been running since then. Belong is one of the cheapest ISP which is significantly cheaper than it’s present (Telstra). However, it’s limited in offering with ADSL2 and NBN available only with the side inclusion of Belong Voice. Belong also offers budget month-to-month packages as well.

Horrible service, will not return your call at agreed upon time, I have waited a week to have my service reinstated and I am sure I will be waiting much longer even tho I was promised that the service would be reinstated today between 1-5pm, no one attended to fix issue. I have asked for cell phone (also with belong) to be topped up with data in order for me to complete an online course I must complete and they would not even extend me the goodwill gesture of 10gb to remedy the situation.

These guys are a scam. Do not waste your time.

Technical support is useless. Belong is very unreliable, especially if you study online. Wifi hasn’t been working normally for nearly a month now.

I am writing this regarding issue of the delivering the modem since more than 3 weeks to narrating same story of me to your 100 of staffs has always been frustrating and terrible experience. I requested for service on 3rd of February around afternoon time. The lady (staff) on the phone told me she had requested for a new modem as the old modem won't be working for the new house. She assured me that I should be receiving it in 3 to 5 business day has turned into a nightmare as it never got delivered to me. Then, I made a 100 plus follow up calls in between 3rd of February till dates. Everytime I was told by your 100s of staff that the order wasn't made for the modem on 3rd of February when I did call for the moving request. When I did follow up call everyone always told that they had put for the high priority for the modem. But, I have never till date. I got a tracking details message on several time but wasn't delivered because of your staff whoever put the order gave them a wrong address and delivered on wrong Address. Because of your irresponsible belong team I am suffering , it's frustrating and horrible experience I am facing it. This are some of the list of your irresponsible, misleading and giving false information staff are that I can remember:

He has no manner and doesn't have much information as well as narrating the same thing and escalating the problem rather than solving. He also does not know how to handle the customer and their complaints. He didn't connect me to supervisor when I made a request he just put me on hold.

She also assured me the same thing. She was rude, wasn't nice and polite to the costumer.

To conclude, this is just some I can remember out of many I dealt with. Hopefully, after receiving this complaint there is going some change and will take a require action by Belong team to give a justice to me which I never had from more than a 3 weeks.

Terrible service. Modem appeared in two days but service wasn’t connected. After two weeks I have got sick of lies and broken promises from the belong call centre. They have no way of escalating problems and simply quote that someone will call in the next 48 hours. They don’t call.
They need a royal commission. In my experience this company should be banned from operations in Australia as they do fulfill their obligations.

I contacted Belong ISP today regarding my accounts and payments. I spoke with Jason, who was very helpful. So from the 1st of November, 19. All should be sorted out and up to date, no worries.

Avoid them if possible. After two months still didn't connected to NBN service. Finally change provider and they organise installation tech within 2 days.
Poor customer service, all of them i will follow it up for you seems like they finish their shift and see ya later.
Very disappointed with their handling.
Their mobile service is rubbish as well. You have no where to contact them. Online portal always need more info. Their mobile data speed less than their competitor.

Extremely slow internet 0.54mbps for the past few days, impossible to watch tv. Drops out continuously,

On an NBN plan $70 per month, slowest speed ever. There are other plans out there with different companies that promise 5 x the basic speed. I called up and they said it is within range at 9 mbps when the maximum on contract states 25 mbps something around that range.

Set up process was fast except they lost the modem in the post but sent another one and i was up and running within a week.

I had issues streaming and gets worse during certain times. I ended up having to go to uni or work on weekend to have smokth running internet and occassionally just use my phone to watch or stream things on 4g.

It is billed on the 1st of the month, hence you pay the entire month ahead. I called to disconnect on the 28th at 12pm and as its easter they have no one to disconnect so they did it on the day. Which means by principal they should pay me back 2.5 days pro rata but al i got from the customer service stafff was "its 2 days so?" so i said if i pay for another month but use it for 5 days do i get a credit, and it replied "no". Rude customer service, and complained further via facebook and they were deflecting and not addressing my complaint.

When you rent a property and move out on a sunday, the realestate does not say to you "oh no one is working on sunday so you need to move out on friday and we will still charge you for the month", customer service department are arrogant and difficult to deal with.

I am really upset at this company and got locked into a contract with them also did not have a good experience with their rude phone department or the people whom responds to they facebook messages. I have lodged a complaint with the TIO.

Had no problems or issues so cannot complain. Got what I wanted and worked as I expected to work. when I required support my issue was fixed ina a timely manner ( was an issue with my router- not NBN servic)
