If I could give ratings of zero or less, I would. Dodo is literally the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of erroneously signing up with. They’re NBN is fraught with issues. For the past 4 months I’ve had about 2 days per month of wifi connectivity. They completely cut phone service for customer support during corona (expect the same when the second wave hits)without informing their customers of this, or of the return to phone service date when that occurred. In addition to this, time and time again I have been on hold for hours, only to literally be hung up on. When you do get through, you are transferred from tech support, to accounts to tech support - over and over- every phone call. Half the time you are unaware you’re being transferred and you have to retell the issue to every person. They refuse to refund the full amounts for the periods they have provided no internet. Im going to consumer protection. I could not advise more strongly AGAINST signing up with dodo.

I received a promotion email from dodo while I was with another NBN company. I was convinced that the $10 discount was worth the switch. After the usual set-up, filling online forms, receiving the activation notice and received the free router. I called the customer service to get a help to activate my D-Link router with the new service from dodo without using the supplied cheap Huawei router, but I waited for an hour without response. I hanged up and called again and kept waiting for 39 minutes without response. I tried the online chat same thing without response. I called again and waited around another 30 minutes to speak with one of the customer services, after the long-expected trouble shooting, she said you can’t use your modem without giving clear reason. I told her that I had the same setup with my previous NBN provider and everything was fine, but she still gave me the same answer to force me to use the doggy Huawei device.
Not happy at all !!!

I am very happy with Dodo. Been with them for quite a few years, always been very happy with their service. In the storms, my Modem was damaged, reported as needing a new one Tuesday, early afternoon, new one delivered early Thursday morning. Everybody was so helpful. Well done Dodo, fantastic service

Their customer service, speed and price are all terrible. Steer clear of dodo at all costs. They are expensive for what they offer, their nbn drops out constantly, their customer service takes an hour on hold before you talk to anyone and when you do get through they have excuses for everything. Don't bother with dodo.

Was always with Dodo even before changing to NBN. Told them i wanted to port my old number to the new line. And of course they didn't do that, and they cancelled the old service before they could port the old number to the new line.

I also negotiated for 1 month free but i never receive the credit. Had to call them up multiple times and explain again and again before they finally kept their promise.

Just an absolute waste of time having to deal with issues like this that should of never happened in the first place if they actually did what they said they would do, and not to just get their sales profit up.

No Service Provided. I had someone call me from Dodo offering all kinds of goodies to have me transfer to NBN. None did i receive. I told them i was oversea and just wait until I get back. When arriving home I found the internet off. My daughter ask what happen to the internet. I called Dodo and they told me that has transfer me NBN. I asked where my modem was. After checking my modem was in Melbourne and I could be waiting up to 7 more days to have it delivered. Finally I received the modem and now the connection is not working. Could be another 7 days as I am not available during the week. Third world service at best. They checked there records and found basically I had not approved the transfer yet but they did it for me, even after telling them I overseas and to wait. Always hard dealing with third world support team from India.

We joined Dodo 9 months ago after having a terrible service with Telstra where our NBN would stop every month and it would take an hour on the phone with them to fix. Have only had 1 problem with Dodo and was fixed in a 5 min phone call, there modem/router has much to be desired but then so does Telstra, I run my own WIFI router. I think Dodo is way better then Telstra so much that on a percentage rate I would give Dodo 82% and Telstra 15%. I run my business from home and have not had any problem with speed or connection on Dodo.

We had NBN (FTTP) with them. Since they were cheap, we went with them for 4 years on speed1 (up to 12mbps). We're happy as long as we have internet since we had heaps of trouble setting up the internet. Dodo had to give us a replacement modem which fixed set up issues.
Now that internet has become very crucial for us, we increased the speed to 50mbps. So we were expecting it to be much faster, after 4 weeks of Tech support and HOURS and HOURS of phone calls we decided to move. They could not resolve the issue at ALL!! we gave them 2-3weeks to fix. NOTHING!! Just a waste of time. So it wasn't our house the problem. It really was Dodo. Now we still have to pay our bill of the added increase of $25 for the extra speed. They don't care of your loyalty (we stuck with them for 4 YEARS!!!!) They just said to us that since we have multiple devices connected 5mbps is a normal speed to expect. So glad we moved, now we're getting 45mbps but paying for the 40mbps speed. MUCH cheaper than Dodo too. And thats with our many devices connected.

I wish i had read all your reviews before signing up with DODO. Definitely a third world organisation that will try every trick in the book to convince you that their way of steeling your money is valid. They will lie to get you on board then you will spend hours on many occasions to persist your point with them and when they realize you won't give up, then they will agree with you. legal Scammers
