IiNet Limited is one of the largest internet providers in Australia which was founded in 1993 by Michael Malone and Michael O’Reilly and were the first ISP in Australia to offer TCP/IP internet access and by 2011, they became one of the largest customer base ISP providers with over 1.3 million customers. It was acquired by TPG Telecom in September 2015 for $1.56 billion. iiNet Limited provides Broadband, Dialup, Telephony and VoIP.

I've paid for a full month for the unlimitless data option for 69.99. They sent an SMS that it was activated on the 22nd of December 2017. It only started working 5 days later. On Tuesday the 9th of January, it randomly dropped and stopped working. After numerous calls to their customer service (WORST customer service I've encountered in Australia by the way), I was told to switch off the modem, reboot or try a new cable, all of which failed. Only getting a tech person sent to fix the issue today, 6 days later. So in total we've lost about 11 days of Wi-Fi, almost half a month, when we paid for a full month! If you're looking for good and reliable service, and a customer service team that actually knows what they're doing and can help, do NOT go with iiNet. Highly disappointed.

iiNet absolute disgrace , no service , no support , be prepared for nerve rucking experience , also if you call customer support - there is a big chance you would not understand a thing , poor English ,no menners . iiNet will go down very soon , have a look comments , it's all over the Internet , everyone is talking . Unhappy customers , unreliable internet provider ,waist of time and money , this is what you get if you go with iiNet !!!

Been with IINET since Ozemail days, over 12 years. highly rated them up till a couple of years back. Now they are the worst company i have ever had to deal with. Zero customer support, drop outs all the time, I have faults that are well documented and they point blankly refuse to fix the problems. if you get to talk to somebody you'll get to do the same trouble shooting exercises repeatedly with the same outcome every time with no resolution to fix the problem. Don't bother with the TIO either, A toothless tiger who i feel are on IINET's books.

Never had a days problem with iiNet naked DSL. Always on and always fast. Always able to reach iiNet quickly. Just love being connected all the time

I have been with iiNet for 12.5 years and if you look at prior feedback I have given ...before 12 months...I was always highly appreciative of your service and staff....not now
It takes ages now for call back...all the time.

My latest beef is that because i have chosen to try and pay my bill ahead of time....I used my credit card so your system declared that my details were out of date....who told it so....not me the customer.

My details are very much still current and then the system cut my service off with out even allowing me an oppportunity to discuss the matter.....did I say "with out notice"..............I am soooooooooooooooo pissed off.

I used to highly recommend iiNet, but now I tell people no and will go on to tell my tale to others. I am considering other options now for the first time in 12.5 YEARS. Did I tell you I had been a customer that long? NOT HAPPY.

Then I went to send this the first time and missed ticking one of the first questions and it cleared this box so I had to type it again.....how about making all your systems customer friendly rather than working against the customer.

Have been with their no contract scheme for more than a year. No troubles,alWays reliable. Good customer support.
