TPG is a joke. I am experiencing a complete internet outage for over three days now, after having extremely slow internet for months - despite my close proximity to the exchange. The technician I have had to communicate with is so unbelievably rude, and the phone operators literally lied to me about my upload and download speed saying they there "normal'" when they were well below average speeds (as I was also running TPG speed tests while on the phone). I regret going with TGP, their service is so unreliable and the technical support team have no idea what they're doing.

Someone who knew me accessed my account pretending to be me and reactivated it so they could have free internet. The only authentication questions that are asked: name, address and email.

I have been paying for someone else's internet without being aware of it. Now, I am having difficulty deactivating the internet at a property I no longer live at. I am immensely unimpressed.

Do not choose TPG as your new service provider.

Firstly, one of the most horrid networks I've ever used. I was absolutely surprised at how slow a network in 2019 can be. On my previous wifi plan, the wifi was good, but I wanted something a bit better for gaming. The first day using this net, I realized how hard I got click baited. First of all, if you watch youtube, forget about it. It runs videos on 360p quality with buffers every 15 seconds. Playing league for the first time on this net I reached the highest ping I've ever seen (12k ms) and it didn't let me move. Sending an email itself is a task with this network. All in all, what I've learned is don't get too greedy and be happy with what you have. So I am instantly removing myself from this joke of a network, literally paying more money for a worse network. so I would NOT recommend it to anyone.

Also, I think I should also add, it has consistent disconnects, approx 4 times a day for around 10minutes. (at random times)

Crooks, scammers, liars, and thieves. their product quality sucks. I raised tech support and asked for cancellation within first 30 days. They wasted hours of my life trying to troubleshoot over the phone. Took weeks to convince them to send someone out, only to say there is nothing wrong. Tried to cancel, but their cancellation dept is only available via email. Sent cancellation request and was told I would have to pay $350 break fee. Tried to fight it, but they would not put me through to the elusive "cancellation department". They would email, send texts to tell me to call, then they were not available. I was finally able to escalate to a "manager" at the call center who told me they would handle my case and make a recommendation in 1 week. 1 week passed, no call. So I called. Couldn't get through. A week later I finally get through to someone who says that the "manager" was in the hospital and would be back next week. If I wanted it reassigned to another person, that person would need a week to get acquainted with my file. They gave me the run around like this for over a month. Finally I raised a complaint to the Telecom Industry Ombudsman. Their TIO complaints officer called me to talk through my issue. He tried to get me to start all over again with troubleshooting. I politely (!) declined. He said that if I refused then the TIO would dismiss my case. When I called his bluff, he said they would be willing to let me out of my contract for $99. Again, I politely declined and told them next step would be ACCC. He siad the TIO and ACCC had no jurisdiction and it was solely up to him what the outcome would be. I said "fine, we'll see". He called me back 2 days later and said that in the spirit of goodwill, he would be willing to let me cancel without fees. I have since switched to Telstra, and my speeds are 2-3x what they were on TPG and more consistent, no dropouts.

Oh, last thing, I am pretty sure that all the people that I spoke with at TPG were actually the same 2 people (male and female) pretending to be other people.

Following 10 phone calls with hours of sitting on hold, $175 upfront fee, a month waiting for an installation, a horrifically rude technician who didnt show up for the installation!. PAINFUL customer support staff who would only repeat rehearsed responses to me when I voiced my issues about the service, a refusal to refund my $175 after I was told I would have to wait 2 months for an installation.... they finally send me a text message saying that the infrastructure they need is not even available at the property to supply me with the internet through them. Are these guys actually supposed to be a legitimate company...? They even outright say that 20 days is their standard for installation, and it will take the full 20.

Absolutely shocking service from TPG in the Moonee Ponds VIC area. Only after a year of complaints with nil action did i lodge a TIO complaint and they then 'acted'. They accepted internet that dropped out over 20 times a day and wouldn't load as 'suitable' and gave nil compensation despite multiple engineers establishing it was a terrible connection. Have since left them and have much better service and reliability.

Have been with TPG more than 10 years. Their adsl line service has not been bad but whenever I relocated, it took around 2-4 weeks to be reconnected even though giving two week notice. now I am with their NBN, there was 1 day outage even though they said there would be no outage time and they cut the old ADSL and phone line before they confirmed the movement. Had to wait around 45 min until their terrible overseas support took my call. It had been working for 14 days well then suddenly my NBN stop working. Called again waiting 45 min again, they said they will call me when a technician is arranged within next 24 hours. They didn’t call me but sent a txt saying that a technician will visit in 4 days. Go with TPG to save $10/m and $10k stress. Now I will move to good reputation ISP but definitely not with any TPG group ISPs.

I gave very clear instructions to send my modem to my office and not to my home because I will be interstate on the day of delivery. They ignored it, sent it to my home with no one around, and refused to redeliver it to my office before the installation date. They also told me I couldn’t use my own modem for the installation. Worst ISP experience ever.

Absolutely pain to deal with, very rude customer service!! You will spend hours on the phone just to solve one small problem they will transfer you back and forth totally a joke! I quit with them because they didn't lodge my application properly and charge extra to reconnect the service! Internet speed is slow ADSL2+ at 4-5mbps compare to other company's similar level of plan my neighbor(units are similar designed too) has at 13mbps. What a rip off!! It also took super long to connect with them like two weeks! Now I got to get my two month of usage fee back from them because their mistake to charge me while I have been overseas. DON NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM OR YOU WILL REGRET 100%,PLENTY OTHER BETTE COMPANIES OUT THERE.
