Terrible speeds on a 50mb plan, always dropping out around 5-6 times per day, never notified about a newer plan for same cost but higher speeds. Technical support is terrible. AVOID this company!! I work in IT and this is the WORST ISP I have dealt with

so bad. internet speed is unreliable, slowing down randomly and speeding up at random times as well. When you need it the most it will shut down on you, believe me it will. So many internet drop outs and back. You never know when it might go away for 6 hours then come back only to go away 1 hour later. The support is also rubbish. Hold, hold ,hold. You will be put on hold for hours on end. One of the worst, second only to Telstra, I do not recommend TPG, instead, go to Optus, they are the best.

DO NOT GIVE TPG YOUR MONEY. Reasons - 1. techical - could not get internet working with 3 technician visits. 2. Customer service - non existent, numerous calls, no resolution, they do NOT call you back when they say they will. 3. They basically do not let you cancel, formally cancelled all my service, month to month contract, and they charged me for another month after the end of the service period, straight to my card.

AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS

If your internet goes down expect nothing from TPG they cannot supply something for the interim. They will not help you. They will not give you any resons or answers. Do not give this fraud of a company a cent of your money. Choose any other provider. They will also charge you to cancel on a no contact contract. TPG has the WORST customer service.

I am a TPG customer. When I signed up they had a 5 star Canstar blue rating and topped the list. I recommended them to a friend and nothing but trouble! His modem was sent to the wrong address. The address that the modem was sent to happened to be a Telstra customer. TPG cut of the internet service including phone at the wrong address. They TPG have now lost my fiends phone number as he wished it to be ported along with his contract. My friends phone number is one he has held for over 30 years. Pathetic! TPG have now slipped in Canstars ratings from number 1 to number 4 barely in front of Telstra at number 5. It is no mystery why! This has been both inconvenient and highly embarrassing for all parties concerned. Do not believe high ratings from other sources as this experience I believe would represent one of many. When my contract is finished with TPG, I will be moving to another carrier. I suggest for all looking at TPG broadband that at present go with IISELECT. The currently have canstars TOP rating. TPG have totally lost the plot perhaps to big to soon. I have better thing s to do than to right this review but I am furious and so is my friend and the Telstra customer who had her broadband turned of because of TPG mistaking the address for the new contract. You all have been warned!

1- Mobile App is not working. They said they will fix the problem but did not receive any call since last month.
2- There is no way to check your international remaining balance online all the time.
3- I asked if you can manage my account to not allow my phone to make international calls once it reaches to limited amount. they said that is not possible. We know why? because they charge you extra money...so annoying...

NBN DOWNLOAD SPEED IS 2.17 upload is 0.53(7 jluy 2017 test) its slow most of the time.SLOWER THAN Adsl 2+ it wont cross more than 7 some time. When i need to upload document i need to wait for ages.I used to hear TPG used to be good. I THINK NOT ANYMORE.

Currently with TPG on their FTTB plans. Service has been fantastic since installation, very enthusiastic technicians involved in the installation process (our building was one of the first in Melbourne to be connected to the FTTB network). Speeds are as promised, even during the day when the Melbourne CBD runs a little slower.

I am yet to use their customer support, but have used their service on other communication services with no such issues to report. I would encourage anyone looking at an NBN service to check if the FTTB service is available in your area. I am genuinely impressed with the product and service offered

Hello there, I have been utilising TPG internet since 2 years now. It is an incentive for cash. Awesome its speed and love the specialized support TPG provide me. They settled an issue in a reasonable amount of time and followed up with a support phone call.

Haven't confronted any issues till now as far as speed and quality. Continuously great. I likewise have its post paid mobile service which I also have no issues with, thank you TPG.

We first put in the NBN request back in 16 Feb 2015, their installer came without warning. Then they said they can come on 30 March but we're away, so we requested 10th April. At first there was no signal, I called TPG and it was activated on the same day. There needs to be better communication and coordination with the installation and activation. Otherwise overall I'm happy with the service I get. We haven't had any major outage or slowness in speed since we had TPG NBN. The price is definitely on the expensive side and if there is a cheaper option I'll switch in no time.
