Rude teller with no knowledge.
They don't know their job and also don't know how to interface with customers.
Also, If you want to join to the TPG be aware that they never refund your deposit in any excuse. (You can raise a dispute to the TIO)

Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced.
I have never been able to get the assistance I need any earlier than 72 hours later.
Now that I have signed up to the NBN with one of their competitors, I can't even get through to their accounts team to have my old service cancelled. I've been trying for 6 days!
Go with literally anyone else, this is the worst company and there is just no support available.

Very unstable and slow speed internet. The plan purchased suppose to deliver around 40 Mps speed; however, that was never the case. for both downloading and uploading speed are below 20 Mps most of the time; and can go as low as below 5Mps even during non-peak hour. Multiple calls to technical supports were quite unhelpful and ineffective; which does not resolve the internet issue. At this very current time of the pandemic, there is no internet available at home for the last 3 days. However, there is NO CALL or CHAT SUPPORT AVAILABLE!! Ive been trying to reach and leave the 'contact me back' option but nothing had happened. This is unacceptable in both technical and service quality.

TPG is one of the most un-ethical company I have came across. I have been using their ADSL since 2010. In May 2019, I have changed my internet plan to belong . I only have realised that they still direct debiting money from my credit card in Mar 2020. When I contacted them, their customer service said I need to send my cancellation to email cancel@tpg.com.au (but not customer service), or they will not process my cancellation. I have send cancel@tpg.com.au at lease 5 emails in the last 2 weeks, no responses at all. What are they trying to do? Get another month of payment out of me? On top of that they will not refund the 11 months payment back to me, because I did not cancel the service in May 2019. It is australia, it is standard practice that when people change electricity, phone company (without contact) , we donot need to inform the old company . As there is one electricity line, and one phone number. Same as internet, there is only one internet outlet in my house. If I have been using belong. How can TPG claim that they have been providing service to me. It is like some Australian banks which were charging dead people fee, it was fined by government for their misconduct. TPG is very un- Australian and unethical. My problem is still unresolved, as you can not get through them via phone nor emails nowadays. I will definitely not use TPG again and I urge you the same. For a customer service perspective, they are appalling

TPG is so slow the service poor. Cannot open google or send an image.

Now I have not had internet for 3 weeks. TPG don't answer the phone and the technicians do not show up when booked. I have just spend a day waiting, even thought they nominated the day and time.

It is the worst service ever! AVOID

The internet is not reliable
And the connection keep dropping out randomly.

Recently I called up TPG customer service to sign up for NBN 50 plan. I was rather taken aback when the staff kept barging me to drop my rights for monetary compensation if tpg fail to meet their commitment with respect to the fixed line that goes with the plan. I told her I didn't have any need for the phone line, hence, it should be removed from my plan. To my utmost amazement, she insisted it can't be removed and I would have to make a $20 upfront payment for the line and as well drop my rights to financial compensation before my application can be processed. I then told her that I needed to study the terms of agreement closely before I can continue with the sign up. She said no, that I must sign up first. Well at this point I concluded that there was no transparency with service provider and took to my heels. Be careful before you sign up. Ask questions and be clear before any commitment.

1 - I have used TPG for years now, and when changing addresses I chose to wait for NBN to be available in 10th January as I was told. It was not available then and I had some time left in my previous contract so I decided to switch to ADSL+. I kept calling TPG to assure the process was still happening until the day it was meant to be connected it was not because they changes the day to June and I was NOT informed.

2 - When connecting to ADSL+ I called on the 20/01/2020 to confirm whether my current WIFI router is compatible to ADSL+ , the first constumer representative said NO. And asked if I wanted to order one I said NO. Second representative I spoke to on the same day asking if I can connect ADSL+ with a corxial cable and she said YES. Which is not correct. I spoke for the third time to a techinical support consultant and he informed me that the information given me previous were ALL FALSE. TPG has given me false and misleading information and wanted me to buy a new modem that was not necessary at all.

3 - The day of the suppposed installation 21/01/2020. I called at 5:30PM to confirm as I didnt receive ANYTHING via text or email. Techinical support says there is NO CONNECTION AT ALL.

I wasted money buying a phone cord and an adapter and in the 2 months without internet I had to use my own 4G service from another provider causing me a $167 bill.

Their costumer service is appalling. Stay away!!

I provide all of my details apart from my Bunsiness name, which I don’t know why in TPG’s system is different from my real current business name! But they just don’t let me to access my account . I respect they followed their rules to do the job! But not when I can provide every detail things even my which account TPG charged me each month, which day TPG took my money, I can provide whatever you want but the correct business name( Which I provide, but don’t know why is not the one in their system) and then , they just don’t let me make any changes. ( I think they just try to let me pay one more day, or try not to let me cancel my account)

And when I try to call them again to cancel my other account with TPG( which I have 2 accounts) argue with them about 30mins , and then they told me they can’t help me to cancel it, I must email them to cancel! F !

I am highly recommend everyone to thinking carefully before you join in this company. Never ever with TPG again! See you next life!
