TPG boardband is rubbish and their products are not as described. I paid $60 per month for the ADSL2+ plan and the speed test told me my internet speed just only have 0.5Mb speed slow. I complained several times and did all their tests and changes which instructed by them over the phone and still not work. Everytime they send the technicians to my place always late, otherwise need reschedule again and again and waste my time to stay home wait for them.. The worst thing is they still haven't fixed the speed issue afterward. My internet speed still slow as snail but they keep charging me $60 per month. I regret to join this TPG crap internet service and I don't know what can I do now as I already complained to them many and many times and very exhausted now. I won't recommend this crappy company to all my friends and you guys.

The worst ISP to deal with. The customer service departments do nothing but lie and give misinformation.

TPG - Terrible, Poor Gaming

TPG is a huge unnecessary liability, the first problem I encountered was speed and deception. On the TPG website, it says my ms was 18 and that everything was ok, but when I go on any other website truth be told my ms spikes up to 900 and averages around 400. They mislead me with false information about its speed and reliability as faking ms in their website, isn't something a professional company should do and infact may be illegal. If you are a gamer(or anyone for that matter) I strongly oppose you purchasing this network. I play the game league of legends and as I recently purchased TPG it is unplayable as it runs consistantly on 500ms with 10second delays, and consistant disconnections. However that's not the only problem. My wifi disconnects up to 5 times a day, at random unpredictable times, saying the wifi is "limited" and connects back 10min later, without warning. This takes another hit into gaming and other factors, as disconnection of wifi mid-game is a serious issue. Another issue is customer service, they tend to be very rude when asked questions, and contacting them stating my problems they seemed uninterested and didn't persist with any actions in fixing the problem, I hate having to make assumptions, but it almost seems as if they just want your money and once claimed avoid any fulfillments made by the contract. Please act more strictly towards your employes, stop misleading with ping tests deceiving people in thinking speed problems persist on other factors and not the network to blame. Therefore I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TPG as a service provider for gamers, people who use the internet regularly, people who use youtube (streaming videos is almost impossible) and people in general who use the internet. I wouldn't be writing a review but with the stress I was put through it needs to be said. This is the second time writing this review as ironically the network disconnected while writing this review.

This review is as unbiased as it can be, I tried being very open, however, I have been deceived, lied to, disrespected and scammed by this network, making it one of the worst experiences I've ever had!

I am very disappointed with there service
Waiting for last three week to get internet connection calling them every day but still, no solution don't get in there trap

Absolutely useless company!! I would not recommend to anyone! The internet keeps going down at my house and I have had 2 technicians out that have detected problems and 'fixed them' the last one said just get another modem. They have cold me today telling me the warranty has expired on the modem but we were never told there was a 1 years warranty on the modem in the first place. The internet has since dropped out and they are telling me I need to get a modem even though the technician said get one just incase. When I said so when I pay for this modem and it's turns out to be your internet lines will you reimburse me for my cost and they will not. We pay monthly to use the useless internet. The fact that it's drops out constantly through the night and day is unacceptable.

Put a request to connect to my new place on 7th of june, without confirming they disconnected my current service and connected to my new place. Completely f**** up, and the worst 5 start customer service. Finally put a complaint with TIO. Complete rubbish

Rude Customer service consultant (Add-on cancellation Team). Hold the phone so many times and if i ask question they get angry. (if you dont want to speak with the customer then quit the job)

I am just regretting not to listen to my friends to avoid TPG since they advised TPG will have lots of hidden charge and they will take the money from card or account without advise. They proved 100% right. Last month I found they charged me 5 times altogether in my credit card. Rang them and received so much mistreated. They declined to communicate to me. I have already lodged complaint to Telecom Ombudsman. Please stay away from them. There are more better service available.

Hi

I have been facing internet issues at home and this is the second day in a row my internet does not work at all.
I am moving home in 15 days, so I have pre booked the cancellation giving 30 days notice and because of that the support team is refusing to send me a technician to solve my problem. after I complained a lot they told me they may send someone in 5 days because is when they may have availability. I Don’t have internet at the moment but I am still being charged for more 25 days, even after I have already moved.
I need the internet to work and this is being a very big problem to me. I do not recommend it!

We moved house 1 1/2 hours across town to an apartment. Paid $300 for a new development charge on the 15th March that TPG direct debuted off my credit card. Tried to have nbn installed on the 29th March and was told it was activated. It was not. Spent - so far the last 10+ days being lied to by TPG that the address we sent them (screenshot of the actual lease address to their email with a shot of the nbn box and it’s serial code) was not the correct address and it was being drawn out on a long process for bad customer service as well as broken promises and lies.
Called NBN itself to get the accurate address id and they mailed me back and I forwarded that to TPG to connect on the 4th April. I heard nothing from them and called 6th April at which point they decided to action that information at the point of my phone call even though they had that info for 2 days. I was lied again as I’ve lost count how many times my follows had been escalated and had no action on any of them. Forwarded to head case managers who actually don’t have a clue what their doing except for themselves and in no way asssasting the customer. Infuriation turned to outrage when I called today (10th April) where they said that because they were given the wrong information (we gave them what was on the lease and what nbn sent us to match to their data) we would need to pay another $300 to continue (but they were going to see about waiving that fee - which by the sound of things they won’t - and I’m still waiting.
I have called an ombudsman because this is the worst customer failed service I’ve ever had, I’ve called another isp and they have told me that since tpg have not activated the service I’m entitled to get that $300 back but TPG seem to firstly refuse the refund and secondly saying some other source took the $300 out even though it says TPG in the cc statement.
The ombudsman and NBN complaints line themselves had said that TPG asking for another handout of $300 is not policy because the mistake was theirs not mine and I’ve paid $300 already for a service they haven’t activated.
So next step is a solicitor to get my money back. But avoid this company because it has going above and beyond any element of anything I have ever dealt with before. Utterly appalling and unacceptable.
