Extremely hard to use the internet service. Extremely hard for the cancellation process! Extremely bad service experience! I can not verify me is me! This is so ridiculous! I provide all of my details apart from my Bunsiness name, which I don’t know why in TPG’s system is different from my real current business name! But they just don’t let me to access my account . I respect they followed their rules to do the job! But not when I can provide every detail things even my which account TPG charged me each month, which day TPG took my money, I can provide whatever you want but the correct business name( Which I provide, but don’t know why is not the one in their system) and then , they just don’t let me make any changes. ( I think they just try to let me pay one more day, or try not to let me cancel my account)

And when I try to call them again to cancel my other account with TPG( which I have 2 accounts) argue with them about 30mins , and then they told me they can’t help me to cancel it, I must email them to cancel! F !

I am highly recommend everyone to thinking carefully before you join in this company. Never ever with TPG again! See you next life!

Finally, NBN arrived at my address after years of waiting so I upgraded with TPG and my nightmare began! From day one the internet keeps dropping and sound quality when making calls was horrible with a lot of static. Called customer service and was connected to a human only after waiting about 45mins, so they arranged for an "NBN" technician to come inspect the issue which was another 5 days wait... the guy came and spent less than 3 mins and informed us nothing wrong with the NBN cable and we need to contact TPG, so we did and ofcourse everytime you call, you have to waste substantial time waiting to get connected to a human...so another appointment and this time 7days of wait for a "TPG" technician... same as before the guy took about 2-3mins without doing anything and informed us the issue is with our building wiring so we must contact the building management to change the wiring from the control room to our residence...WTF?!?! I told him I didn't have any problem when I had ADSL2 with the same copper wire so how did he determine the issue to be with the wiring??? He had no answer and said there is nothing he could do. So I called TPG again and asked to speak to a supervisor or manager but was informed no manager was on duty and that they would call me back....3 days and counting and no one callback! I'm going to be calling ACCC and see if I can switch to Telstra or Optus. STAY AWAY FROM TPG NO MATTER HOW CHEAP THE PLAN!!!!!!

I was in the process of registering on line for FTTB. Pay close attention to the “prepayment” charge for voice prepayment outside included value. On questioning their customer service, it’s a prepayment charge of $20 on possible calls you may make that are not included in the bundle. No worries on that. However that charge is “forfeited” when and if you cancel the service. So basically if you don’t make any calls ever they take this “prepayment” charge and keep it, even if you never used it. Asked to speak to a representative here is Australia and surprise surprise, no one available. Maybe I’ll have a chat to the communications ombudsmen. A prepayment is an advanced payment for a service you may possibly use. If that service is not used those funds should be returned to the owner of said funds

Don't mind the internet speeds but customer service is appalling. There's been an NBN outage in my area for almost a week. I was promised updates to restoration and have received no call or email. Nbn came back on last night and still no phone call to me to let me know connection has been restored.

Don't Do It - Research a different company. TPG's customer service is awful, initial connection takes forever (which they don't tell you about, mind you you still pay for this unconnected time). They don't care about you or their service merely money orientated.

The customer service team at TPG is second to none. Every time I have called with a potential problem or query, I have never been on hold for longer than a minute. My internet took 1 day to be switched over between moving houses and when I called to ask for help with the modem, they talked me through everything and it was up and running in a few minutes. Very impressed, I would recommend.

TPG is a joke. I am experiencing a complete internet outage for over three days now, after having extremely slow internet for months - despite my close proximity to the exchange. The technician I have had to communicate with is so unbelievably rude, and the phone operators literally lied to me about my upload and download speed saying they there "normal'" when they were well below average speeds (as I was also running TPG speed tests while on the phone). I regret going with TGP, their service is so unreliable and the technical support team have no idea what they're doing.

Someone who knew me accessed my account pretending to be me and reactivated it so they could have free internet. The only authentication questions that are asked: name, address and email.

I have been paying for someone else's internet without being aware of it. Now, I am having difficulty deactivating the internet at a property I no longer live at. I am immensely unimpressed.

Do not choose TPG as your new service provider.
