Vividwireless uses wireless internet connection through a simple plug and play modem that activates the internet within minutes. Vividwireless has been brought by Optus, in 2012. However, they continue their wireless service to the customers mainly in Perth where they have widest network coverage.

I joined vivid about 6 months ago, because there were no NBN in our area. The setup process was quite simple for us. I bought a modem from The Optus store outright. The process to set it up took less than 10 minutes and were simple and straightforward. The internet is still pretty fast, reliable and offers good customer service too. There was not even a single downtime.

I have been using it for more than 6 months now. Never had a problem. My family and I take it everywhere we go, and the download speed is amazing as Optus pretty much covers anywhere within Australia. The customer service is also good, although I only spoke to them once when I was not able to locate some information in my account. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

i live in Sydney city and i get full signal. Internet is fast and i recommend anyone. I get speed of around 10mbps. If you want to download torrent i would recommend to do it over the night time. I installed vividwireless 4G network broadband connection some 10 days ago. The network comes and go. It is not stable. The speed also fluctuates. And sometimes it is good for laptop but not on mobile phone. I need to reset it and then it works fine on all device. Also I purchased it from optus and they had advertisements of 12 mbps download speed. But when I installed at my house, I only got 4.3. Upon calling vividwireless, they told me my plan is restricted to 5 mbps. WTH??

Vividwireless was a saviour. I was unable to secure an ADSL or ADSL2 port 12 months ago, researched options and found this great company. Pretty simple path to purchase - buy modem from Harvey Norman, take it home, set up takes 2 mins and then its all done. I got the second month free and also hooked my dad up to a 40GB plan and we both got an extra month free.

At our current address we are extremely limited in terms of internet access. We cannot access cable or ADSL (from any provider) therefore our only option was 4G mobile broadband. The only service provider offering an unlimited mobile broadband service was vividwireless so we connected with them. We opted to buy the modem outright from Harvey Norman and get a month to month plan so we can leave when NBN rolls out. Speed is sufficient to stream Netflix most of the time, but we experience drop-outs during peak periods (most evenings after 6pm and more so on weekends). We've had no assistance with these outages from customer service and no credits applied to our account. We pay $80 per month for the service and because of a lack of alternatives we are at the mercy of our ISP. Having said that, we are at least grateful for the option of an unlimited plan, hence we have been vividwireless customers for over 12 months with no plans to change providers until NBN rolls out (fingers crossed!)
